Personal, social and emotional development is the foundation of this interactive story, with the message that sharing leads to making and keeping friends. The use of alliteration is prevalent and is intended for the kindergarten children to start playing with language. Books are an important resource in early years education and book reading facilitates the process for the acquisition of literacy skills. They lend themselves to pleasurable activities and entertainment whilst introducing children to various experiences and knowledge. The use of technology further enhances children's interest and whilst a presentation was also prepared for the students, this enabled them to go through the story independently.
